ahhh, it was a joke. this guy is a friend and models professionally. i was just giving him and chuckhead a hard time. ha.

retouching skin is as much of an art as photography. most big name photographers send their work to professional retouchers. if you hunt around you can find some good tutorials to get you started. if you go to flickr, theres a Dove commercial showing how fake beauty photography is. the whole commercial is one shot straight on the girls face (from off the street, to make up, to shooting, to retouching). that will give you an idea why when you shoot your girlfriend, no matter what you do, it still wont look like the magazines. ha. check out this guys skin tone ( [link] )
